Created leather dress modeled by Olivia Newton-John for Vogue Australia 1984 Monument to Miguel Ortu??????????????????o, San Jose, Costa Rica, 40 feet wide x 4 feet high, sculpted in clay, cast in bronze. 1985-1989 Executive Director, The Mamas & The Puppets. Educational environmental puppet troupe staged 300 performances throughout Michigan, funded primarily by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. Praised by one teacher, "The best assembly I've seen in 20 years." 1986, 1988, 1990 Gave birth, peacefully at home, to our three beloved children, Moses, Raya, and Joshua, in whom I am well pleased. 1989-1992 Extensive work in graphic design, including many newsletters and artwork for Zingerman's Deli in Ann Arbor, Michigan. 1987-2000 Created many custom commissioned stained glass panels for private homes and commercial spaces. 1987-present Began Sea of Glass Studio Started designing and creating dichroic glass jewelry and sculptures with husband Eric Cooper. Eric Cooper fall 1981 Through a twist of fate, meets future partner in marriage and art, while untangling the complexities of ceramic shell bronze casting. Dreams of being a sculptor. Senior thesis: "Lust for Light" consisting of vivid photo-graphs showing the excitement of the mundane. 1985 Graduate work at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in alternative photographic processes. Photographs published in the Isthmus, Madison's weekly paper. 1985-1986 Discovered the true functional value of my art degree, finally scoring a job doing industrial demolition. Highlights include the demolition of a municipal sewage treatment facility. Yuck! 1986-1999 Explored the fine art of carpentry, with emphasis on Prairie, Japanese and Contemporary styles. Highlights: include heading a project that moved a 120 ton victorian house through Ann Arbor, and restoring it. 1998-present Co-owner, Sea of Glass Studio. Design and fabrication of dichroic glass jewelry and sculptures with wife Trudi Cooper. Loving Trudi brighter than the sun. Each moment with her, an unfolding adventure. June 2005 We "restored faith in humanity" to an under appreciated individual with a simple act of trust. October 2006 In front of a crowd of hundreds, Marianne Williamson declared that I "have magnificent manliness." August 2009 Completed Level 1 Gestalt Therapist Training.
